  Fisher House I, located at 415 Schlatter Drive, Wright-Patterson AFB opened in May 1990 and is a two story approximately 6,000 square foot home. On the first floor, to the right of the entry hall, is the dining room and to the left is the living room. Straight ahead are the stairs to the second floor. There is also a full kitchen with a subzero refrigerator and subzero freezer, a sink, a dishwasher, a stove, double ovens and a microwave on the first floor as well as a laundry room and a half bath. At each end of the first floor is a two-bedroom suite with a handicapped bathroom in between the two rooms. On the second floor, there are five bedrooms, each with a private fully-appointed bath.

  Fisher House II, located at 417 Schlatter Drive, Wright-Patterson AFB opened in April 2011 and is a single story approximately 10,000 square foot home. To the right of the entry hall is the living room and to the left is the large community dining room. There is also a very large kitchen with a two subzero refrigerators and subzero freezer, two sinks, two dishwashers, two stoves, two double ovens and two microwaves. There is large laundry room with two washers and two dryers and a half bath as well as a family room. Off of the family room is a large patio with a pergola. At each end of the first floor are six bedrooms, each with a fully handicapped bathroom. Eight of the twelve bedrooms are connecting rooms, allowing large families to utilize adjoining room. The managers operate out of this Fisher House, so check-in and check-out is accomplished at Fisher House II. • Dayton VA Medical Center House

  The new Fisher House at the Dayton VA Medical Center is a 16-bedroom, 17-bath, 13,500-square-foot, two-story home at a cost of $6.5M. The new House was completed on 13 August, 2018 and turned over to the Department of Veterans Affairs and started taking guests on 22 October, 2018.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

Our lives have been so stressed from everything we are going through, but the Fisher House is a wonderful place that has made us feel secure and welcome. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
